Frank Fernandez, PhD

Frank has more than a decade of experience in higher education, including working as a consultant, director of institutional research, and faculty member. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed articles, 20 book chapters, and a half dozen books, including Transformational University Leadership: A Case Study for 21st Century Leaders and Aspirational Research Universities. He has written research or evaluation reports funded by American Institutes for Research, the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association, Partnership for College Completion, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. His research has been funded by Arnold Ventures, Spencer Foundation, and William T. Grant Foundation.

Xiaodan Hu, PhD

Xiaodan is Associate Professor of Higher Education and and coordinator of the Community College Leadership Program at Northern Illinois University. Her research has been funded by the William T. Grant Foundation and the American Educational Research Association.

Beverly Magda, PhD

Bev has worked as an Associate Provost, Dean, and Associate Professor of Technology Management and Systems Engineering Management. She has worked at Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, and George Washington University. Outside academia, Bev worked as Chief Information Officer of a national non-profit organization where she managed all aspects of information systems and technology execution for enterprise-wide infrastructure.

Kaitlin Quigley, PhD

Kaitlin is Assistant Director of Academic Support at The Johns Hopkins University. She lectures at Johns Hopkins and manages the signature program that helps retain students and promote their success. She previously worked at The Pennsylvania State University and Western New England University.
